Steps I took to create this look:

  1. Cleaned the interior, back, and bottom with Dawn dish soap and water. Cleaned the finished surfaces with degreaser
  2. Scuff sanded the entire piece with 220 grit sandpaper and my SurfPrep sander
  3. Re-glued loose drawer slides with wood glue and clamps
  4. Primed with Melange Paints Stain Blocking Primer in white
  5. Painted in the color Ginkgo Green by Melange Paints
  6. Sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat and my favorite top coating brush
  7. Lined drawers with peel-and-stick wallpaper
  8. Added new hardware to the existing hardware holes
